WOODLOT TOUR ~ Beischlag Property

Location: Pt Lot 22, Conc 1 (97 acre parcel) on

Saturday April 30th, 10:00 am to noonish.

This tour will provide some insights to managing a new plantation (this was planted from 1993 to 1996). It includes a 5 acre Red Oak Genus experiment and a 5 acre Carolinian Forest compliments of the MNR back in 1995. There was a total of 81,000 trees planted on this property over the 4 year period. There is also an established 7 acre woodlot.

Location: Meet at the corner of Lawrence Road & Highway #24 at 10:00 am.
