Description

The Twisted Willow is the corkscrew variant of the Chinese willow and is native to northeast China. The species is widely cultivated in China, favoured for its twisted twigs. It is planted as an ornamental in Australia, Europe and North America. The ornamental shape of the branches and twigs do make this cultivar susceptible to cankers and it is weak-wooded.
